- The Advanced Care Practitioner Manager directs health care organizations that deliver clinical care and may provide direct patient care; includes hiring and supervising staff; developing and managing budgets; developing, conducting and analyzing quality improvement initiatives; planning, delivering and evaluating educational programming; developing, conducting and analyzing needs assessments and research projects; managing and analyzing data; preparing grant proposals; developing and implementing policies and procedures; developing, implementing and evaluating unit strategic plan; includes serving as a resource for internal and external customers, providing sound interpretation and application of professional standards of practice and overall adherence to policies, procedures and protocols. Duties are performed at various levels within the defined title.
