Guest Room Attendant - Part Time

JOB TITLE DEFINITION:  

Clean guest rooms and public spaces including hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, etc. Perform any combination of cleaning duties such as making beds, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. 

SAMPLE WORK ACTIVITIES:  

• Clean guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so health standards are met 
• Remove, bundle, and replace soiled linen, make beds, turn mattresses; dust/polish furniture, radiators, sills, doors, blinds, shades; clean glass, mirrors, light fixtures, wainscoting, railings, toilet fixtures; sweep, dust mop, and wet mop floors; spot clean, vacuum, and rotate rugs, runners; vacuum upholstered furniture, draperies, mattress, and springs; empty and clean wastebaskets 
• Restock dispensers and replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, bathroom items; replaced burned out light bulbs 
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts; maintain equipment and materials used in a lean and orderly condition; disinfect equipment and supplies; keep carts well-stocked; keep linen room and storage areas clean and orderly 
• Close and lock doors, windows; turn out lights 
• Inspect room after guest leaves; report missing, damaged, lost, and found items to supervisor
