Administrative Professional Series

The Administrative Professional Series (APS) is designed to equip administrative support professionals at the University with the skills, resources, and tools to meet job challenges and support unit, college, or campuses priorities. APS is offered as a two-part, certificate program. The Talent Management team recommends Penn State’s administrative support professionals participate in both level 1 and 2, regardless of their experience level.

The level 1 program of APS is only delivered in the Spring. To qualify for the level 2 program, you need to have been in an administrative role at the University for at least 2 years. The level 2 program is only delivered in the Fall.
