The Instructional Designer develops appropriate strategies for implementing instructional technology across a broad range of academic programs and initiatives utilizing accepted instructional theories and principles; collaborates with clients and information/instructional technology staff to resolve issues related to technology use in teaching, including application assessment, pedagogy, deployment methodologies, integration strategies, etc., and consults with other instructional technology personnel to develop solutions for academic programs, departments, and similar units; oversees project oversight and management from inception to completion. Duties are performed at various levels within the defined title.
