Job Title Definition:
An Assistant Athletic Director provides administrative leadership and management to Intercollegiate Athletics; responsibilities will vary but may include: hiring and supervising personnel; evaluating systems and procedures; managing budgets; promoting events; coordinating schedules; securing and/or approving travel; ensuring compliance with all NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations; representing the department on committees and at various events; and doing the work necessary for the department to remain successful. Duties are performed at various levels within the defined title.
