Job Title Definition:
The Engineering Program Manager works with many levels of executives and staff to lead program efforts based on government Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification and industry Program Management Improvement (PMI) best practices; manages the program and subordinate projects within the program from the contract award through the final disposition of deliverables and closeout; manages the logistical, financial and technical aspects of the program; facilitates and communicates program goals, including cost, technical performance deliverables and schedules; ensures that documentation produced at each stage of the program conforms to regulatory, statutory, sponsor and stakeholder requirements. Duties are performed at various levels within the defined title.
