JOB TITLE DEFINITION:  

Supports various academic courses in the assessment of formal assignments. Graders are responsible for following faculty guidance as well as pre-established rubric/ grading scales.  

SAMPLE WORK ACTIVITIES:  

• Grade homework, papers, laboratory reports, examinations, etc. in a timely manner
• Follow pre-established rubrics and grading scales
• May provide written feedback to students
• Document grades using established criteria
• Raise concerns and provide feedback to faculty, as necessary; report common student errors or difficulties  
• May perform duties of Proctor
