Penn State Fridays
Faculty, staff and technical service employees across the University are invited to take part in Penn State Fridays, a collective celebration of pride and community. Every Friday, employees are encouraged to wear blue and white clothing and/or display Penn State gear—whether in classrooms, offices, labs, or virtual meetings.
Ways to Participate
- Wear Penn State gear or blue-and-white clothing:
Dress in a way that aligns with your role and unit expectations. Consider your professional interactions with students, alumni, donors, vendors, and colleagues, and consult your supervisor or unit leader if you have any questions. - Use Penn State digital assets:
Download University-themed digital backgrounds, banners, and graphics to showcase your pride during Zoom meetings or across your digital workspace.
Wallpapers
Showcase your Penn State spirit using wallpapers designed to be used as backgrounds and screensavers on personal and University-owned computers, mobile devices, and other digital displays.
Virtual Backgrounds
These designs feature our brand tagline, the Nittany Lion mascot and shrine, as well as iconic Penn State imagery from each campus location.
