Production Worker - Part Time

JOB TITLE DEFINITION:  

Perform general labor and production tasks; assist operators and plant personnel as directed; clean buildings and facilities.

SAMPLE WORK ACTIVITIES:

• Provide general labor for manufacturing, production, and product packaging; label, case off, palletize, supply and stage materials to production; move/stage ingredients, items, finished products, and return to appropriate storage areas
• Operate production machines and/or assist with operation of other equipment in plant as needed
• Mop, hose, and clean various rooms and areas. Operate various types of specialized or general powered janitorial equipment such as floor maintenance machines, wet and dry pick-up vacuums, scrubbing and buffing machines, etc.
• Assist with daily cleaning and sanitation of tanks and equipment used in the manufacturing/ production facility
• Clean, organize, and maintain warehouse storage areas; operate forklift, aerial lift, etc.
• Properly receive and document incoming ingredients, packaging, materials, etc.; move, store and rotate stock as needed
• Check weekly inventory levels; count and record levels of ingredients, labels, packaging, finished products, etc.; assist with formal inventory counts as directed by management
• Pick products; pull and stage orders for delivery
• Drive University vehicles for deliveries, pick-ups, and transports, as needed
