Beyond Accommodations: Using the disability personas to create an inclusive pedagogy for students with disabilities

Educators can take an active role as advocates for their students with disability and accessibility concerns. The focus of this session is to encourage Basic Education for Adult programs to create an inclusive and accessible classroom environment beyond accommodations for a range of students with disabilities. Faculty can expect to learn how to set curriculum development norms to enable every student to have accessible content and classroom instruction beyond course modifications. - part of the BUILD curriculum
