Overview

The Penn State Administrative Professionals Series – Level 1 (PSAPS1) program is the foundation of PSAPS. It is a highly interactive, instructor-led training program designed for Penn State employees in administrative roles. It aims to elevate your interpersonal, communication, and professional skills; while expanding your network of peers and provides a platform to learn through shared experiences and practices. PSAPS1 is offered each Spring (typically the last week of March thru April).

Details

Participants will complete a series of six (6) virtual classroom training sessions over a 6-week period. Participants should expect to devote 14.5 hours to attending the virtual classroom sessions, along with about 5 hours of pre and post program assignments. Upon completion of the PSAPS1, participants earn a customized certificate of completion.

Topics include: professionalism, networking, writing skills, relationship skills, project management, and adaptability/flexibility.
