Years of Service Recognition Program
All full-time benefits-eligible Penn State employees are eligible for these awards. This program recognizes employees across the University for their contributions and years of dedicated service to Penn State. The program recognizes employees at years one, three, five, and then every subsequent fifth-year milestone. Managers will be notified via email when an employee is approaching an anniversary and will be guided through the process.
Yearbook
At years one, three, five, and at every subsequent fifth year, employees will receive a digital and physical yearbook with iconic University photos and congratulatory messages from co-workers, managers, and University leadership.
Commemorative Numeral
Beginning at year five, and at every fifth-year anniversary after, employees will receive a symbolic reminder celebrating that particular year of service.
Catalog of Gifts
Beginning at year five, and at every fifth-year after, employees will have the opportunity to select from a catalog of gifts with an array of options- including Penn State branded items. At 25 years of service, the iconic chairs will be one of the gifts to choose from. A link to the gift catalog will be sent to the employee as they reach an eligible years of service milestone.
