JOB TITLE DEFINITION:  

Pilot positions operate University aircraft and perform all duties for a successful flight; prepare reports, maintain records; assist in maintaining the aircrafts, hanger, and office; responsible for flight crew of Penn State Staff aircraft. 

SAMPLE WORK ACTIVITIES:  

• Serve as pilot in command on University aircraft, including performing all tasks necessary to plan, execute and complete a flight 
• Maintain records and generate weekly, monthly, yearly, and special reports 
• Assist in trip planning, flight scheduling, and various office tasks  

REQUIREMENTS: FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical Certificate. Must pass FAA Class 1 Flight physical examination
